BSC 5306 - Human Morphology IIICredits: 4.5 Foundational course for healthcare students focusing on the regional anatomy of the thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and perineum. Anatomical structure, function and relationships of the bones, joints, muscles, vessels, nerves, and viscera in each region are examined in detail from both a gross and a histological perspective, and as appropriate, developmental processes will be explored. Clinical correlations and applications are introduced throughout the course. Prosected cadavers enable observation and review of the anatomy.
