Foundational course explaining the normal human immune response and pathologies that result from an impaired immune response. Diagnosis and prevention of common human diseases are actively explored. Topics include innate immunity, adaptive immunity, immune cell function, autoimmunity, immunopathologies, immune deficiencies, as well as the histology of the immune system structures.
