MSN 6050 - Foundations of Nutritional Biochemistry Credits: 2 This course provides an overview of essential concepts in human biochemistry that support effective nutrition-focused health care. The course examines the biological roles of macro- and micronutrients, their metabolism, and related key physiological processes. Topics include carbohydrates and energy metabolism, protein and amino acids, bioactive peptides, enzymes, lipids, and nucleic acids.
